Lovin' Reading

Our little munchkin's favorite thing to do is read books. Her very favorite is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and will require it to be read to her at least a million times a day! (Yes, I do have the entire book memorized!) We leave this blanket on the floor because Livie loves to sit on it while she is reading. Sometimes she'll lay down and lounge on it while she reads. It is really funny to watch her find a book from her room, walk into our bedroom, sit on the blanket, and read her book. She is getting to be such a big girl! Or in this case, have Daddy read it to her!

Valentine's Day

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day! This year we stayed at home. We made sugar cookies and enjoyed frosting, decorating, and especially, eating them! Dave and I gave Livie her shirt, hair clip, and socks. She looked so cute in her Valentine outfit! I let Dave pick what we had for dinner, meatloaf (it's his favorite, strange, I know!) It is one of Livie's favorite too. She ate lots! We gave Dave a Valentine's present, a scrapebook calendar we made. Livie also gave Daddy a card that she made! She colored it with crayons. Daddy loved getting Valentines from his girls! Dave gave me some much needed new clothes (he always knows just what to get me!) It was a great day. We love starting new traditions with our little family!

Growing too fast!

Liv has finally decided to start walking. She is getting really good at it. She rarely ever crawls. Daddy likes it more than I do because she loves to get into things and now can reach higher! Livie is saying so many more words! She can say, "Hi" and "Hello" but she only says "Hello" when she is on a phone (or when she is pretending something is a phone, ex. hand, rattle, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!) She loves to wave to everyone and keeps waving until you wave back. Livie laughs during the day by crinkling her nose and breathing through it. She thinks she is quite the riot!
