Park City

I totally spaced taking my camera on our girls trip, but I still had to post on it because I had such a blast! I found some really great deals and got to know the girls better. Thanks to all my great fam for watching Livie while I went off and played!

Neighborhood Carnival

This is us at a carnival the neighbors put on. Livie loved it and we all had so much fun! They had a fortune teller, bounce house, carousel, cakewalk, balloon animals, face painting and tons of carnival foods.
We told Livie to not chew on her balloon dog or it would pop, so of course she bites again and closes her eyes, preparing for the pop! What a kiddo! Luckily it didn't pop.

She even held still enough to get her face painted! She loved looking at her rainbow in the mirror!

Livie really loved the "horsey." She kept asking for more and didn't want to do anything else! We had a great time and hope that we can make it an annual event!

Watching Allee and Pierce

Finally! We were able to partially pay Amy and Derek back by watching Allee and Pierce. Amy is always watching Livie for us, so it was nice to be able to return the favor (thanks Amy!) The kids play so well together, it really wasn't hard! I needed to give them all a bath, and what better way than all together! It actually went well. The bathroom wasn't any more wet than what Liv usually makes it! The only picture I was able to get of the kids looking at the camera. What great kids!
This is poor Pierce getting picked on by the girls. He was tired and sad because Amy had just left. I think that Allee and Livie were trying to cheer him up. In the video, it looks like Livie decides to lay on Pierce, but she was actually giving him a hug! All Pierce wanted was to be left alone!

August 11th

This is the first time Livie has ever been this tired while eating. Suprisingly, she still ate great, she just did it while laying on her arm. When we would call her name, she would only look at us if she could keep her head on her arm! Poor Liv! She was still such a cutie!

A New Post

I was totally going to have a great post updated today. It seemed like everything was working out perfectly: Dave's working extra late, Liv went to bed great, and I have tons to post. However, now that I am on the computer, my eyes are really hurting and straining to focus. SIGH. Sorry, but going to put it off again for another day. Stay tuned . . .

Wow! Welcome to August! We have tons of crazy stuff going on this month, so I will try to keep up on my posts. Here's a preview of what's happening this month:

1. LASIK for me (YES!!!)

2. Dave's brother should be leaving for Marine BMT

3. My girls trip to Park City (with no kids!!)

4. Dave's other brother's wedding

5. Dave will start school full time

6. Helping my sister with her kids so she can go house hunting in Missouri

7. Spend as much time with my sis and her cute kids as possible before they leave

8. Begin harvest and canning
